ESG Charta

In our ESG Charter, we define our self-concept, outlining the ethical principles we stand for and the regulatory frameworks we adhere to. Our stakeholders – guests, employees, partners, owners, investors, and the interested public – can rely on Lindner Hotel Group's commitment to climate and environmental protection, as well as the responsible use of natural resources. In our Sustainability Compass, we showcase the efforts we are making today for the three dimensions of sustainability and the areas we focus on.

preserving our earth worth living

We have no Planet B; we only have this one Earth. Therefore, our collective task is to keep it worth living and lovable for future generations. Our environmental management aims to integrate climate and natural resource protection into our business processes, including the efficient use of resources and energy, emissions and waste reduction, biodiversity preservation, and adherence to ecological standards. We raise awareness among employees and guests by informing them and fostering their sense of responsibility.

consume fewer resources, reduce emissions

The energy transition began in the hotels of the Lindner Hotel Group many years ago. Depending on the location, the group relies on intelligent climate technology, combined heat and power plants, district heating, green electricity, and even photovoltaic systems. Since 2006, we have reduced CO2 consumption by almost 80% and saved a quarter of electricity consumption. We continuously increase our use of renewable energy sources. The deployment of LEDs and energy- and water-saving technology is part of the basic equipment of our hotels. All Lindner Hotels & Resorts and me and all hotels are certified with the GreenSign Level 4 sustainability seal.

putting people at the center

Lindner Hotel Group advocates for universal human rights, fair working conditions, and safe and healthy workplaces, both at our locations and those of our suppliers. We believe that business should be conducted sincerely, fairly, and with respect for other people, their dignity, and their rights. The principles of our actions are outlined in our Code of Conduct for ourselves and our suppliers

strengthening our profile as an employer, providing attractive jobs

Our employees are our most valuable asset. The Lindner Hotel Group, a family-run business, comprises a total of 30 hotels in six European countries, employing around 1,900 people (as of January 2024). The group is among the leading German hotel companies. More information about our understanding as an employer and career opportunities can be found in the Career section.

creating values for future generations

Economic viability and entrepreneurial success form the basis of our business model. Therefore, Lindner Hotel Group aims to position itself in a way that generates value for future generations of owners, investors, guests, and employees. This requires responsible corporate governance, including the conscientious design of services, fair relationships with suppliers, and combating corruption, bribery, and money laundering.
